Based in Northern Kentucky, outside of Cincinnati, Owen grounds his work in literature and psychology, fueling an exploration of meaning, narrative, and visual perception. His compositions center on how we experience color and relate to our surroundings. By manipulating hue, transparency, and saturation, he creates bold chromatic structures that invite slow, active viewing—fostering contemplation and fresh ways of understanding our shared world.

His works are in collections all over the US. He holds a BS in Literature and an MA in Psychology, both of which factor in the creative process.
