Living and working in Southern California, Lynn Welker regards herself as a painter of imaginative excursions. Her abstract narrative landscapes refresh the senses through elegant forms of sensitivity and light. In an effort to reach beyond what other artists do, Welker creates a new reality by inventing from the imagination.
Growing up in Ohio, Lynn fondly remembers the freedom to explore nature in nearby woods and farmlands. After receiving her BFA, BS, and MA, this connection to the natural world has remained a primary inspiration. Whether it is a mixed media landscape, a canyon scene, or an experimental abstract, all reflect the essence of nature. California
