Colored Ginkgo

Scenes that suggest mystery, serenity, and simplicity, have always inspired Dianne. With her camera focused to capture the image, “I allow myself to slow down and reflect on the quiet beauty before me. It is my hope that the viewer experiences a little of the calm I set out to capture.” While attending college to pursue an accounting degree, she took a black and white photography course to help satisfy the art requirement. She soon found herself being the first to get to class and the last to leave! Passion for photography developed almost immediately, and Dianne’s goal of becoming a CPA quickly disappeared. After many years of shooting film and printing in the darkroom, she slowly (sometimes kicking and screaming) transitioned into digital photography and felt her passion for the art form reignite. “Using new skills along with the advances in technology has made it possible for me to create images that at one time only existed in my imagination.” Dianne spends her time between Sacramento CA and the Oregon Coast.
