Green Trick Dianthus

Andy Hann was born and raised primarily in Southern California. Along with skateboarding and surfing, he developed a deep passion for art and design and by 7^th grade he new he wanted a career in the commercial art world. 

He studied  design at OTIS/PARSON School of Design and then enjoyed a prosperous 30 year career in the entertainment advertising with such clients as ABC, NBC, CBS, Discovery Channel, E!, National Geographic Channel, A&E, SONY Pictures, among others. After numerous awards, and accolades he says that he woke up one day and decided he was bored, picked up a camera and and has been shooting ever since. Andy took the same passion he poured into his creative career and focused it on photography, he is married to a horticulturist who influenced his focus towards botanical work.

Utilizing his formal design training and decades worth of advertising work, photography is a craft that seems to suit Hann quite well, and a journey that he wishes he had begun at a much younger age.
