Late Afternoon Tomales Bay

Leslie Allen is an award-winning Native California artist and architect inspired by reverence for the natural world.  Her work evokes the sensory experiences of being immersed in a particular ecology, time, atmosphere, and place. Leslie’s “Contemporary Realist” paintings highlight the beauty and complexity of both nature and human interventions in the landscape.

Working in a variety of art media, including painting, ceramics, and sculpture, Leslie is focused on integrating art into architecture, soothing and healing interiors, and landscape.  Her work has been selected for exhibition by the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco, and she is experienced with commissioned installations.
