Erin Galvez received her Bachelor of Arts from California State University at Sacramento and studied at California State University at Long Beach for a Masters in Fine Arts in printmaking. Continuing her art education by travel and working whenever possible in creative ventures, she was able to learn a variety of artistic methods. Since every media has inherent characteristics and subtleties, her work is a very broad exploration of visual expressions. Her print based works deal with the figure, the nuances of body language, and human emotion. Her mixed media work explores an appreciation of beautifying the spaces we live and work; contemporary art for the places we inhabit our ever day existence. She lives and works in downtown Sacramento, California.
