While working at a fine art publishing company during her youth, Diane was inspired by the successful, established artists she met there. Here, she realized it was possible to make a living as a fine artist. After receiving her B.A. in Studio Art from Cal State at Northridge, she enjoyed several years as a digital animator for video games and the film industry. She went on to teach and pursued painting fulltime. The first year that she was strictly dedicated to the medium resulted in numerous regional awards for her figurative and floral paintings. She continues to pursue her artistic endeavors and currently lives in northeast Ohio.
