Amanda Jones began her photography career in 1992 after graduating with a degree in Cinema and Photography from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. In 1994, Amanda began photographing dogs in Maine after her best friend brought home Ruby, a yellow Labrador Retriever puppy. Ruby was Amanda's first model and inspiration for pursuing a career working with dogs. Amanda has been photographing dogs and cats for clients across the United States ever since. Amanda's images grace greeting cards, posters, calendars and books. She travels the country extensively, photographing dogs, cats, and the occasional horse. Amanda lives in Williamstown, Massachusetts with her husband and business partner, Chris, their daughter Sophie, and her two Dachshunds Lily and Benny.
