Please find detailed information on Studio EL artwork and all of our numerous custom options below: c u s t o m g i c l é e s : Fine Art Prints On Canvas And Paper Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a french word meaning 'to spray.' The giclée is a high quality fine art print created from a digital file. The image is printed by applying millions of microscopic ink droplets directly to the canvas or paper. This technique delivers sharp details and a wide range of vibrant colors, while the printed dot pattern typically visible in a poster or a canvas transfer is eliminated completely. Our giclée prints are museum quality and are equal to the giclée prints of contemporary artists found in major museum collections around the world. Our giclées are not only vivid, detailed and accurate prints, but are also durable and fully archivable artworks. Inks are independently tested to archive in excess of 50 years. Their resistance to fading and long lifespan make the giclée a sure choice for any fine art collector. Our printing technology utilizes more expensive aqueous (water-based) inks instead of solvent inks producing superior prints that are better for the environment and the health of our employees.		L U X E E d i t i o n s : Fine Art Prints On Unique Substrates Luxe Editions are innovative works of art that break the traditional barriers of fine art prints. Each artist has specifically developed imagery suitable for alternative substrates and materials. However, these works of art are also similar to a traditional giclée in that the technologically advanced printing process is able to achieve astounding detail, continuous tone and an amazing range of colors. Our inks are also 'green' and have minimal VOC’s (volatile organic compounds). v a u l t : Available Artwork And Imagery Studio EL offers a growing collection of exclusive artwork. New work is continually being released so please visit our website (StudioEL.com) to view current availability. Limited Edition artwork is not available anywhere else and is limited to plate signed and numbered editions of 450 or 950 pieces. All artwork can be custom sized according to your needs at no additional cost. Our Open Edition giclées are a limited selection of Editions Limited poster images. This large and varied body of work is offered in open editions and can also be sized for your needs. Luxe Editions are limited to editions of 25 prints. The edition is determined by the combination of image, size and substrate. Each Luxe edition includes a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed by the artist.
s u b s t r a t e s : Giclée: 100% Cotton Canvas, Fine Art Textured Paper Or Bamboo Paper 100% Cotton Canvas (375gsm + coating) Maximum image size: 52" on the short side Our canvas is made of sustainable cotton and hand coated with a water-based UV varnish to produce a satin finish and help resist damage from sunlight and scratching. Unstretched canvas prints are provided with an extra 4" beyond the image on each side to accommodate your own stretching / framing treatment. This extra border is composed of 2.5" mirrored image, plus an additional 1.5" of white canvas. Gallery wrapped canvas giclées arrive ready to hang. The mirrored border wraps around the 2" deep stretcher bars and the canvas is stapled on the reverse, eliminating any need for painting the edges or framing. All pieces come standard with saw-tooth hanging hardware for easy and stable hanging. If the work is for public installation, we offer 3 point locking security hardware at a minimal extra charge. Fine Art Textured Paper (310gsm) Maximum image size: 56 on the short side Fine Art textured Paper is a heavy weight, cold press paper that has a natural white finish with a coarse, structured surface equivalent to traditional watercolor paper. Prints on this paper feature fine detail, vivid colors and deep blacks. All paper giclées have an extra 2 of white paper beyond the image on each side. Fine Art Bamboo Paper (290gsm) Maximum image size: 40" on the short side Fine Art Bamboo Paper is made from 90% bamboo fibers and 10% cotton. This naturally warm-toned and OBA free (no toxic, optical whiteners) art paper offers maximum aging resistance, an extremely large color gamut and high color density. Each print is has an extra 2 of blank paper beyond the image. LUXE Edition: Brushed Aluminum, Clear Acrylic And Eco-Friendly Bamboo. Each is available ready-to-hang or as artwork only. Brushed Aluminum The aluminum panel used is extremely lightweight, rigid and stable due to its 3-part construction. The face layer of brushed aluminum and back layer of painted (coil- coated) aluminum trap a solid polyethylene core to create a 1/8" panel that will not warp. In addition, this substrate is completely waterproof making it ideal for high humidity locations. Each corner of the aluminum substrate is rounded by 1/4". This slightly rounded edge adds a professional finish to the piece in a addition to protecting the corners from any visible damage. The ready-to-hang option includes 2 aluminum cleats bonded to the reverse with architectural grade adhesive to float the artwork about 1" from the wall. Clear Acrylic We chose clear acrylic for its aesthetic qualities, as well as its light weight and impact resistance. The material is a substantial 3/8" thick and the edges have been polished for a clean, refined look. We print directly to the reverse side, which helps protect the image from abrasion. As with all acrylic products it is very important to avoid contact with ammonia based cleaners. The ready-to-hang option includes holes at each corner and brushed aluminum stand-off hardware to float the artwork about 1" from the wall. Eco-friendly Sustainable Bamboo The 100% bamboo panel is 1/2" thick and 3-ply to prevent warping. It is sustainably grown and harvested to ensure all the wonderful attributes associated with bamboo including strength, hardness, as well as natural resistance to moisture, mold, mildew and termites. We chose to keep the natural, blonde color of the wood so that the images would show up clearly. The edges have been sanded to produce a clean refined look; although, as with all natural products there are unique characteristics inherent to each piece. The ready-to-hang option includes an aluminum frame fastened to the reverse to float the artwork about 1" from the wall and accepts standard security hardware.

b e s p o k e : Custom Options For Your Giclée Artwork Size: Two recommended sizes are offered for each limited and open edition giclée. All pieces on canvas and paper may be resized with proportions accurate to the original piece free of charge. While we are able to offer very large, mural size canvas and paper, the size is sometimes subject to the size of the original art. Please call your sales representative to discuss sizing that is right for your wall space. Luxe Editions on alternative substrates are only available in the specific stated sizes. Substrate: Fine art paper, eco-friendly bamboo paper and canvas are just a few of our substrate options. Most artwork is also available as Luxe Editions on clear acrylic, sustainable bamboo or brushed aluminum. Embellish: Our staff of artisans are trained to hand apply clear, brushstroke texture to any canvas print.		p a r c e l : Packaging and Shipping Giclées printed on paper and unstretched canvas prints are rolled and placed in durable mailing tubes. Gallery wrapped canvas artworks and Luxe Editions are packaged in heavy-duty corrugated boxes. Keep your artwork out of direct sunlight to avoid fading and increase its lifespan. Never clean with liquids or other cleaning products. If cleaning is needed use a soft, dry cloth or feather duster to avoid damaging your artwork. w a r r a n t y : Guarantees And Returns Studio EL guarantees that your fine artwork is completed as ordered and is free from defect or damage. Each print has passed at least 3 levels of quality control. All artwork is packaged by professional art handlers and shipped via a reputable freight carrier. Never accept or open a shipment with obvious external damage to the package. Insist that the delivery person return it to Studio EL unopened and notify your Sales Representative for an immediate replacement. If the product arrives damaged, immediately notify your Sales Representative. Orders will be replaced free of charge if evidence of incorrect or damaged product is presented within 10 days of receipt. ALWAYS SAVE THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
